When Mitch Wilkenson finds his wife brutally murdered in a ditch, he needs answers. As he sets off across the shattered, post-apocalyptic wasteland of what was once the American Midwest, each clue only leads to more questions about what really happened to the world five years ago. Mitch must now team up with an unlikely ally in order to bring down the deadly cult that threatens the very survival of man.
